Description
Our client is looking for a Senior Executive Accountant to join their team. The primary function of this role is to work alongside the CEO to introduce controls and processes in the business. This will extend to executing monthly reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders and interacting with the reporting and process controls of the development side of the business.
The primary role will be to produce monthly reporting packs. However, it will also involve creating Excel spreadsheets and Power
Point presentations to showcase existing projects and engage with investors. It will also extend to analyzing, with the help of the other parts of the business, potential new projects and presenting these opportunities in a coherent and standard way.
Finally, it will involve defining and identifying KPIs for the business and determining how and when the business reports on these KPIs.
You will be accountable for:
- Monthly Reporting both internal and external
- Project Analysis alongside the development team
- Developing reporting and process controls for the business alongside the CEO
- Controlling the business alongside the CEO
Profile
- Process requests submitted for fixed assets and projects' creation, capitalization of closed projects, impairment, retirement, and disposal of fixed assets.
- Record IFRS16 Lease contracts changes (creation, update)
- Perform
- end closing (Settlement of costs to Asset Under Construction; depreciation, check FI/Asset Accounting) - Analyze and reconcile accounts
- Report IFRS
- end Fixed Assets (ACTUAL2) and IFRS quarterly Appendices (ACTUAL3) in the relevant packages' sections of the Consolidation tool (BFC) and perform preliminary checks (solving of blocking controls) - Support to external audit
- Execution of Internal Controls
The skills required for this position are:
- Fluent in English & Portuguese
- Dominance of IT tools: Excel (advanced level), Power
Point - Structure and organization
- Confidentiality
- Good communicator
- Sociable & outgoing person
An experience in an accounting firm/audit firm is mandatory.
