This position is created to fulfill IDC’s increasing focus on business and developing new business contacts (70%) in Southern Europe countries, with focus in Portugal, as well as managing our existing client portfolio (30%). This role will support IDC’s rapidly growing client base in both data, custom solutions and event businesses.

Responsibilities:
- Drive and actively develop IDC business within the region in assigned customers as well as seek new customers and opportunities.
- Create and manage sustainable leads and sales funnel.
- Apply consultative sales skills to identify customer needs, create propositions to address those.
- Customer care and management: maintain close contact with clients from proposal creation to successful delivery and
- delivery activities. - Maintain effective working relations with local and
- wide IDC analysts, event teams and IDC global sales operations. - Effectively coordinate analyst and consulting meetings and potential client services portfolio.
- Help to define and manage marketing activities to support event, research and consulting sales.
- Maintain comprehensive understanding and oral/written presentation skills of all relevant IDC product and service portfolio.
Minimum Requirements:
- University Degree.
- +3 years of experience in Sales or Marketing (preferably within the ICT market).
- Excellent at establishing and managing relationships with customers and prospects.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluent in Portuguese (Spanish is a plus).
- Good level of user knowledge of MS Office.
- Goal oriented account manager with an appetite for hunting new opportunities and highly motivated to advance.
